I read this quote in a really great book I just finished called "Talk of the Town" by Lisa Wingate. A sweet older woman is chock full of wisdom and loves to subtly pass it along. This really jumped out at me, letting me know that just because I'm not in control of every aspect of my life, doesn't mean that it still isn't going in the right direction:
"...sometimes in life you carry the ball, sometimes you just run along, and sometimes you're flat on your back, but just because you don't have the ball don't mean it's not moving toward the goal."
